I guess it's time to announce that ... I'm pregnant.
13 weeks tomorrow. And I had blood drawn for the Maternit-21 test almost two weeks ago, so I should know the gender pretty soon, too (and of course the results of the genetic testing, ahem).
I wrote a bunch of posts that I didn't publish just so I could get my feelings down on "paper", and they definitely show that I was wildly emotional for a while there. I could publish them, I suppose. We'll see.
In the meantime, now that the first trimester is at an end, and morning sickness has essentially called it a day, I'm telling everyone about the pregnancy. I had my first midwife appointment today, and I'm actually pretty excited. It feels so strange to do this all the way a normal person would - not just because there was no infertility treatment involved, but because it's not twins!!! I can't tell you how excited I am about the not twins part.
So, that's the announcement. Wheeeeeee! And whew. The secret is out.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!! How exciting! How do the kids feel about a new baby?
